Standards of Practice

The Standards of Practice are part of the regulatory framework within which regulated chiropractors are required to practice in Alberta, which speaks to specific practice responsibilities.

Failure to adhere to legislation and/or CCOA standards will find a chiropractor subject to the remediation or complaint processes administered by the CCOA. A complaint can be made my anyone, including a patient, an employer, the Registrar, the Complaints Director, or another regulated chiropractor.
