Schedule of Fees

Fees

The comprehensive fee schedule (fees) is a complete listing of fees collected by the College of Chiropractors of Alberta (CCOA) for services provided such as annual renewal, application fees, continuing competence fees, late fees, discipline fees and other fees.

To ensure operational effectiveness and fiscal stewardship, CCOA’s management reviews financial results relative to the budget monthly and reports to CCOA Council on a quarterly/annual basis regarding how it has met its financial and operational priorities based on available funding sources.

Note: All application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. All fees are in Canadian dollars.

Requesting waiver of late fees and other consequences of lateness

CCOA has an obligation to be a responsible steward of CCOA resources. For this reason, CCOA does not consider waiver of late fees and other consequences of lateness unless there are compassionate grounds for consideration.

CCOA does not waive late fees or for any of these reasons:

  • This is the first time being late.
  • Was just a little bit late.
  • Have a good regulatory record.
  • Away/on holidays.
  • Did not see or receive the reminders.
  • Technical difficulties.
  • The late fee is too expensive/I don’t have money.

CCOA will only consider and respond to emails outlining truly extenuating circumstances that could warrant waiver for compassionate grounds. All other emails to request waivers will not receive a response.
