Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Statement
We believe that embracing diverse perspectives strengthens our organization. By fostering an environment where all individuals—members of the public, registrants, staff and partners—feel welcomed, heard and valued, we contribute to safer, more responsive and more equitable care for Albertans.
Our approach is intentional and ongoing: building a culture of belonging within our organization, embedding inclusive practices into our regulatory work and promoting fairness in our policies and processes.
As regulated health professionals, chiropractors are required to adhere to the College’s Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice and related requirements. In turn, the College is committed to fostering a regulatory environment that supports inclusion, diversity and equity for the benefit of the public we serve.
The College will continue to reflect on and strengthen its approach to equity, diversity and inclusion. We regularly review our policies, processes, standards and guidelines to ensure alignment with these principles. As part of our ongoing work, the College will also share and reference relevant resources to support learning, awareness and best practices that advance inclusive and equitable chiropractic care.
