Health Professions Act

The Health Professions Act is the overarching legislation that governs all regulated health professionals including chiropractors in Alberta.

Failure to adhere to legislation and/or CCOA standards will find a chiropractor subject to the complaint process administered by the CCOA. A complaint can be made by a patient, the Registrar, the Complaints Director or another regulated member.
