Discipline

As per the Health Professions Act and CCOA Bylaw 8.1, the College of Chiropractors of Alberta publishes records of all decisions made as outcomes of complaints as of April 1, 2019. Any decisions made prior to this date can be obtained by contacting the Complaints Director

Decisions made regarding complaints of sexual misconduct or sexual abuse will remain online indefinitely. All other decisions will remain online for a period of 10 years.

Pending discipline decisions

Hearing tribunal written decisions and orders will be posted pending the expiration of the appeal period, as per the Health Professions Act. 

February 1, 2023: Statement regarding the Hearing Tribunal written decision in the matter of the College of Chiropractors of Alberta vs. Dr. Curtis Wall:

- In the matter of the College of Chiropractors of Alberta vs. Dr. Curtis Wall, the Hearing Tribunal has found Dr. Curtis Wall's conduct does constitute "unprofessional conduct" and their decision for penalty is forthcoming.
- The College of Chiropractors of Alberta, as a regulatory body, has an obligation under the Health Professions Act to ensure the public receives safe, competent and ethical care from regulated members.
